Worms, 24 October 2008 - This year, Ciba AG, Basel, organised the first ever XYMARA™ Design Award and invited young designers to take part in the competition by submitting innovative designs in three different categories: furniture design, mobile-phone design and packaging design.

Ouenaarde, 16 September 2008 - From the 1st of September, RENOLIT Belgium is the first company within the RENOLIT group  producing green electricity. On top of the roof of the raw material warehouse  in Oudenaarde, two test sites with photovoltaic elements are fully operational.

On a sunny day the peak capacity of this solar installation is a modest 10kW.  The solar energy market is expanding  substantially and concrete plans for bigger projects are already in the pipeline.

One thing is  for sure, with the realization of this photovoltaic project RENOLIT Belgium takes another step into the world of green energy and ecological roofing solutions.  

Worms, 12 September 2008 – With effect from 1 September 2008, Karsten Jänicke (40) has taken over general responsibility as Head of the RENOLIT Group’s RENOLIT DESIGN Business Unit, which is located in Worms.

Worms / Essen, 23. June 2008 – RENOLIT AG, Worms, is expanding its research activities by acquiring a 25,2 per cent share in SUNCOAT GmbH, located in Zittau in the German federal state of Saxony. The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control on June 13, 2008.
